Yes, the Czech Republic is opening to American tourists

On Monday 21st June 2021 the Czech Republic finally re-opened to non-essential (tourist) travel from the US, ending a period of over a year during which American travelers were unable to visit the country.

Entry Requirements

Can American tourists enter Czech Republic? Yes

Can Canadian tourists enter Czech Republic? Yes

There are no test requirements to enter Czech Republic.

None required since April 9 2022

Antigen or PCR Testing for Returning Home

There is no longer a requirement for US citizens returning to the US to provide a negative PCR or Antigen test, since June 10 2022.

General COVID-19 measures to be aware of

  • maintain physical distance
  • maintain hand hygiene and disinfection (we will provide a personal bottle of hand sanitiser to you upon arrival)
  • we will provide one disposable respirator per day of your vacation for as long as face masks are mandatory

Note: Masks are officially not required anymore but we still suggest having them in crowded indoor spaces.
