Trogir

Croatia
Trogir travel packages
Locals call it "The Stone Beauty." UNESCO-listed Trogir is one of the gems of Croatia.
Trogir is a town that travelers to the Adriatic always love. You can look forward to beautiful beaches, comfortable hotels, tasty dining, and more. The cuisine is traditional Dalmatian-style, with fresh seafood from the Adriatic. Simply put, you're going to have a great vacation in Trogir. Trogir is a city-museum in every sense of the word. For more than 2,300 years, it has been a unique setting in Croatia. Lovers of culture, history, art, and architecture will all find something astounding. The heart of Trogir is an island surrounded by city walls with influences from the Romans, Greeks, and Venetians. The wider surroundings of Trogir include islands and islets, lush green vegetation and beautiful pebble beaches. From snorkeling to sailing, swimming or just relaxing on the beach, Trogir is great. You can enjoy your vacation laying low or being adventurous.
Five minutes from Split airport, Trogir is the ideal location to start or end your vacation in Croatia. It sits amid national parks, wine regions, and gorgeous coastal towns. But it is also near Split, Croatia's second largest city, and a hub for exploring Dalmatia and its islands. There you'll find ferries to neighboring islands and modern highways heading inland. All in all, Trogir is a charming and authentic place. It is a key part of any ideal Croatian vacation.

What we love about Trogir

Andrea

Dubrovnik City Host & Adriatic Destination Expert

When someone says "Dalmatia," I see Trogir. This is a typical, small, Mediterranean town with a rich history and cozy atmosphere, blue sea, great music and Dalmatian spirit.

Zagreb City Host & Adriatic Destination Expert

Trogir is easy to reach, historic and absolutely gorgeous. No wonder UNESCO recognized it as a World Heritage Site.

Trip Planner

Due to its small size and limited area, Trogir has remained the same for centuries, and the local families have a long history there. This is why coming to Trogir feels like coming home every time, to your neighborhood, where everybody knows everybody and nobody locks their doors.
