Alberobello is situated in the inland hills of Puglia. The region is famous for its "trulli" house, picturesque cone-shaped dwellings made of limestone without any mortar, and Alberobello is the epicenter of trulli-land. The town's historic center, known as Rione Monti, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features over 1,000 trulli houses that have been preserved since the 14th century.

Wander through the narrow streets, admire the white-washed trulli and enjoy browsing the artisan shops within that sell local handmade products. Alberobello also offers culinary delights, with restaurants serving traditional dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
