A little about Prague
“The Golden City,” “The City of 100 Spires,” “The Mother of Cities”... Prague has no shortage of nicknames, and they all pay homage to the city’s charm and beauty. Prague’s winding cobblestone streets, its gorgeous architecture and its atmospheric bridges are fabled, and with good reason: this is a city like no other. From exploring the history and modern culture on foot, to traveling farther afield to take in the picturesque countryside and fairytale villages, you’ll have an itinerary full of adventure and relaxation. This is a very walkable city surrounded by easy-to-reach destinations in the surrounding regions. Besides the city’s history, which is evident on every street, including the beautifully preserved former Jewish Quarter, a rich program awaits. There will be plenty of time to sample the famous Bohemian beer, as we can offer several delightful gastronomic experiences, including a romantic dinner cruise on the Vltava river, and a relaxing afternoon at an actual beer spa! Day-trip destinations include scenic castles, the perfect spa town, and the Renaissance village of Cesky Krumlov. Prague is a city of history that comes to life for every visitor. No matter what your interests, you’ll find yourself intrigued by the inviting magic of the Czech capital in the heart of Europe.
2 Nights in Brno
Day 1
Brno's history stretches back hundreds of years and on this special excursion you'll learn about the various phases in the city's development. This three-hour walking tour with an expert local guide covers all of the most unique sights in the center of the city and even peeks into the outskirts so you can learn some of the secrets of Brno's long and complex history. This charming city will open up before you and you'll feel like you've stepped back in time as you get in touch with everything that makes Brno a charming destination.

Duration : 3 hours Activity level : Light | Included in your vacation package |
Day 2
One of the highlights of the region and hugely popular with Czech and visiting tourists is the Moravian Karst, featuring over 1100 caverns and gorges. Only 4 complexes are open to the public however and the most spectacular is the Punkva Caves with an underground river. On this day trip your guide will take you to the caves, about 45 minutes from Brno, where you will join one of the scheduled group tours, after which you'll have time for lunch at Skalni Mlyn, famous for the Punkva Trout from the river that runs through the caves.

Duration : 4 hours Activity level : Moderate |
Day 3

A little about Brno
Don't listen to the Praguers when they tell you Brno is dull. They probably haven't been in a while. This provincial city and capital of the South Moravia region has plenty to keep you occupied. A tech boom in the 2000s and onwards has raised salaries and expectations all round and the city center is alive with cool places. The NY Times called Brno an architectural mecca and you'll definitely want to reserve tickets to see Villa Tugendhat, a UNESCO listed functionalist villa built for a wealthy industrialist's family in the 1920s by renowned architect Mies van der Rohe. Brno is also a great base for trips to the wine hills of Southern Moravia and to the Moravian Karst, where the Punkva Cave is the most popular attraction.
2 Nights in Cesky Krumlov
Day 1
Day 2

Duration : 1.5 hours Activity level : Easy | Included in your vacation package |
Day 3
A little about Cesky Krumlov
Cesky Krumlov is the second most visited town in the Czech Republic and for good reason. It was put on the UNESCO world heritage list in 1993. A 2.5 hour drive south of Prague it is a prime example of Bohemian village life. The town is highlighted by the castle which houses more than 300 rooms and is the second largest in the Czech Republic. The center with the Vltava river running through it is a labyrinth of cobblestone alleyways with delightful shops. No matter where you are all the town's highlights are no more than five minute walk away. Cesky Krumlov is surrounded by nature set in a hilly green countryside making an ideal place for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, golfing and weather permitting a canoe or rafting trip on the Vltava should not be missed. It is also a city of culture and art with 7 museums and 4 galleries as well as medieval, music and theater festivals taking place year round. For beer lovers the city has its own brewery and the local brew is served around town in ancient taverns and restaurants where you can enjoy typical hearty Czech dishes in a unique classic setting.
1 Night in Karlovy Vary
Day 1
Day 2
A little about Karlovy Vary
Karlovy Vary is not just the most famous spa town in the Czech Republic, it's also a beautiful place with an atmosphere all its own. Whether you're coming to enjoy the sumptuous spa and wellness treatments, or just to have a look around, a visit to Karlovy Vary, about two hours drive from Praguem always feels like something special. The most interesting parts of the town are centered around a gorgeous promenade lined with special fountains for the hot spring water Karlovy Vary is famous for. Each fountain has water with a different temperature and mineral content. You'll see visitors and locals alike sipping the water from special porcelain cups which you can find on sale at many street-side stalls. Drinking this medicinal water is the simplest way to connect with the rich spa history here. There are also several excellent spas where you can enjoy wellness and beauty treatments, or just relax in a whirlpool or sauna. Hotel Thermal is one of our favorites. A short walk uphill from the main street, it has a full selection of treatments as well as an outdoor pool that's amazing in any weather. Riding the funicular to the Diana tower will give you great views of the town and the lush hills surrounding it. Karlovy Vary is also famous as the home of Becherovka, a delicious herbal digestif that's the Czech Republic's most famous liquor. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy both while you're visiting.

JayWay Travel staff are professional, detailed, easy to work with, give the client the feeling that they are the most important thing in the world at that moment, set the confidence level very high that the traveler doesn't have to worry about anything - everything will be taken care of. The level of detail that's in the itinerary is amazing, never any doubt about what will take place. JayWay Travel is outstanding!! Don't stop what you're doing!
We have not regretted for a moment, we entered the Jay Way world. Within minutes they had sent us an itinerary for our proposed trip and later gave us several selections for accommodations at various levels of comfort. We saved ourselves hours of self inflicted searching, pondering, reserving and unnecessary risk. We were comforted greatly at the transition points, i.e., being met as we arrived at each location, having a city tour to orient us to each city, and then transport to either the train station or by shuttle to our next destination. We recommend Jay Way Travel without any reservation. The time, energy, and effort they saved us was worth every dollar of their fee, which by any accounts was very reasonable.
The only way to travel is with JayWay Travel. From the planning process through the actual 25 day journey, we were all extremely satisfied. Actually, almost each and every night, we toasted our experience and highly recommend it to everyone.
JayWay Travel uses their local knowledge and understanding about the needs of travelers to create wonderful trips. Traveling to Central Europe with their itinerary planning made our 2 weeks absolutely perfect.
JayWay Travel provides the ability to customize your trip and spend time on whatever you like. They make it easy to get the most out of beautiful cities by having your individualized itinerary planned including hotels, drivers and local guides.
"JayWay staff provided us with everything we needed and more. We loved being able to be in contact with them and we appreciated hearing from each throughout our trip, making sure all was well. Knowing we had these contacts was reassuring. Your activities were amazing! All JayWay staff worked wonderfully well with my wheelchair needs to ensure that I saw all that I could and taking Molly to do some things I couldn't. Your selection of choices was excellent, and we truly loved everything we did. JayWay provided an amazing experience, covering all aspects with expertise, to make an outstanding trip and taking care of us so well the whole way through. Thank you!"
As usual, JayWay Travel smoothed out all the rough edges of travel and made our trip so memorable. You made us feel like the Hapsburgs!!
JayWay Travel makes travel easy and takes away all the things that give you heartburn, like where to turn in the rental car, how to buy tickets for the train and transfers. We love being just a phone call away from solving any problem we might have!
"The most professional boutique travel agency. This is my second trip with JayWay and I cannot overemphasize the excellence of its customer service! Loved their site and how they provide information and pictures about all the tours and services they provide. The additional information on each destination is very helpful and if you do your homework and read it before arrival, you feel like you've already been at destination. Love love love the professionalism."
"We were so happy to have found JayWay during our research. We have traveled through other countries in Europe where we coordinated the logistics, but with little knowledge of Central Europe and the language and money differences we were uncomfortable going it alone on this trip. The idea of a group type tour was very unappealing so finding a tour company that would handle the logistics without having to travel with 40 other people was great. It allowed us to have the style of trip we wanted and relax and enjoy it without having to be concerned with the details. We learned so much from the local support personnel that assisted us and it really enriched the trip. Thank you!!!"
Our trip involved 33 days total. Jayway arranged for all but our flights. Every aspect of our trip was well taken care of and wonderful. The guides, excursions and transfers were well arranged without exception. Every question before the trip was answered promptly and thoroughly. During the trip when a few issues arose, our contact Darja, was readily available and helpful. We had a wonderful time.
"JayWay Travel was exactly what we needed in planning our vacation. Other travel agencies offered tours that included most of the places that we wanted to see, but we were not able to fit into their fixed time schedules and routes. JayWay offered us the flexibility that we needed. We had the secure feeling of being on an organized tour, and JayWay's scheduling allowed us plenty of free time to explore the cities as we liked."
"JayWay took a lot of hassle out of the trip and gave excellent guidance & suggestions in finalising the individual cities on our trip. This was clearly based on considerable experience with each of the countries. We particularly loved the transfer service at each location. It was most welcome when arriving somewhere tired and not knowing where to go! The local contacts also provided outstanding help and guidance on the road and the mobile phone was a great idea."
