Raised as a true wanderer, Enrico has called home five different countries throughout his life and speaks four languages. From Mexico and Paraguay to South Africa, Canada, and, of course, Italy, he has lived in more than one continent. Ever since he remembers himself, Enrico’s life has been all about traveling, airports, planes, and diverse cultures. At the age of six, when asked what he wanted to be when he’d grow up, his response was short and sweet: a tourist. True to his dream, Enrico spent his entire first paycheck ever on a trip to Greece. How could a wanderlust soul like Enrico not fit perfectly with the JayWay team?

What's your favorite thing about traveling?

Meeting new people and falling in love with the moment.

What's the best place you've ever visited and why?

The more I travel, the more I fall in love with The Boot!

What was the most exotic dining or cultural experience you've had when traveling?

Eating alligator meat in Bonito, Brazil. Spoiler alert: it tastes like chicken.

What's something you always bring with you when you travel?

A notebook to write down my thoughts.

Mountains or beaches? Why?

Beaches with mountains around them.

Planes, trains, or automobiles? How do you like to travel and why?

Planes hands down. Planes are incredible in that they can take you far, far away. But, more importantly, flying changes your perspective on things. It draws you away from the surface of the earth and all the problems down there.

What were your reasons for choosing to work in travel? And what value do you see in it?

Working in travel is like being a store clerk at a candy shop. You get to see happy faces every day. Meeting clients is one of the unique gifts of working in travel.
