Karen entered the fascinating world of tourism by chance when he got a job as a night receptionist at a hostel a couple of decades ago. From then onwards, there was no turning back. Soon, Karen started running tours as his passion was to show his country to travelers from all over the world. Shortly after, Karen started his own travel business. One of the things that Karen loves about working in tourism is that he has the opportunity to meet new people from all across the globe. Travel and tourism are huge parts of Karen’s life and for that reason alone we are very happy that he has become a member of the JayWay family. 

Discovering new cultures, meeting locals, and exploring natural wonders.

It is important to travel to become more open-minded and learn new things.

Getting in touch with nature, especially an escape to the mountains. 

So far, the best place for me is Corsica, as there are incredible hiking trails there. 

Iceland and Norway.
