Olga
Sales Director
Olga's initial role at JayWay was as a trip planner and accommodation expert, for which her photographic memory came in very handy, having visited all of our destinations and inspected the accommodations firsthand. Combining her Masters in Tourism Management with years of experience in production and project management, as well as an enthusiasm for travel, Olga's tireless efforts to improve our processes resulted in her becoming Sales Manager.

What's your favorite thing about traveling?
Observing how people live in other places in the world, the excitement of not knowing what you will see around the corner.

Why do you think it's important to travel?
To grow spiritually, expand your horizons, improve your life by taking the best from other cultures, and to understand people better.

What is your idea of a perfect vacation?
Being surrounded by beautiful nature, with no pressure, no precise plans, with someone who shares this approach and is open to adventure, deciding where to go or what to do next, depending on your mood.

What's the best place you've ever visited and why?
Recently I visited Lastovo, Croatia. I loved it because of the amazing hidden bays with crystal clear water which you don't share with anyone as the island is not popular with tourists yet.

Best advice for travelers to Europe?
Each country in Europe is unique, so in order to get the best experience, immerse yourself in one country and go off the beaten path, rather than trying to see many of them at once.

Mountains or beaches? Why?
Both are great, but beaches are closer to my heart simply because I live far away from the sea.

Planes, trains, or automobiles? How do you like to travel and why?
Driving is my favorite way of traveling. It gives me the freedom of going where I want when I want.

How do you manage with pre-trip stress/anxiety and/or unexpected situations during your travels?
I look at this as a part of the adventure. I think of how I handled similar situations in the past and now have good memories from those times. This makes me stronger.

What were your reasons for choosing to work in travel? And what value do you see in it?
Simply a passion for traveling and working in this industry gives you an opportunity to travel, whether it's in reality or in your mind when you plan trips for others.

What’s something you’ve been meaning to try, but haven’t got around to yet?
Diving.
