A land steeped in history, Britain celebrates its past, present, and future at every turn, thanks to its diverse architecture and vibrant culture. Your timeless journey across the United Kingdom starts - where else? - in everyone's favorite, London, perhaps Europe's most exciting metropolis. While in London, it's worth enjoying a blend of mandatory sightseeing by visiting royal landmarks, famous parks, and world-class free museums, and a chance to get to know the vibe of the real city as you walk through the British capital's many neighborhoods, each with its own distinct character. After London, your journey continues in Bath, a beautiful city known for its Ancient Roman baths and the perfect base from which to plan a day trip to one of the country's most sought-after wonders: Stonehenge. Continue to York, a beyond-words stunning destination known for its confectionery legacy, which is best explored during an exclusive small-group chocolate tasting experience. Your trip ends in gorgeous Edinburgh, the beating heart of Scotland, where the grandeur of Georgian townhouses and the splendor of the surrounding countryside will leave you speechless.

One of our team members will be available to answer any questions and arrange local services leading up to and during your trip. You will receive access to your Guest Page, with its information on the best the UK offers, including things to see and do, and other inside tips from restaurant recommendations to tipping advice. After landing at London Heathrow Airport, you will be met in the arrivals hall by your driver, who will take you directly to your accommodation in central London. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

A Late Afternoon Stroll Along The Thames

Suggestion to explore on your own

London is Europe's most fascinating metropolis, home to one of the Old Continent's prettiest riverbanks. For a leisurely introduction to London, we recommend a twilight stroll along the River Thames taking in several of the city's most emblematic landmarks. Starting at Big Ben, Westminster Palace and the Houses of Parliament, stay on this side of the river and walk east along Victoria Embankment, with views of the London Eye ferris wheel on the opposite bank, wandering through the Victoria Embankment Gardens and passing the ancient Egyptian obelisk, Cleopatra's Needle. After Blackfriars Bridge, cross the pedestrian Millennium Bridge. As you do so, spin around and admire the dome of St Paul's Cathedral. Once across, you'll be right by Shakespeare's Globe. Head west to pass the Tate Modern Gallery and go under Blackfriars Bridge once more to arrive at the Oxo Tower, where you can drink in one of the best views in London at the rooftop bar while trying on of their signature cocktail creations.

The Science Museum concentrates on scientific principles and discoveries. Both feature interactive activities and displays that appeal to all ages, especially children. On the other hand, the Victoria & Albert Museum focuses on art and design, from fashion and jewelry to sculpture, textiles, and medieval treasures, hosting frequent paid temporary exhibits to keep people coming back. More centrally located, the British Museum is a treasure trove of objects from around the world, not just Britain. London's diversity is reflected in its various neighborhoods, each with its own unique character. Some of these neighborhoods are more iconic than others, and strolling around them feels like starring in your favorite movies set in London. Notting Hill is, without a doubt, the most cinematic neighborhood in London, and you won't get enough of its pastel-colored buildings and all the vintage treasures you'll find at the famous Portobello Road Market.
