Day 1
Day 1 - Arrival in Lima
After you land at Lima’s airport, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name on it. The journey to your accommodation will take up to one hour.
Take in The Beauty of The Ocean
Take a leisurely walk along the Malecón, Miraflores’ scenic seaside promenade, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Stretching along cliffs above the coast, the path offers parks, gardens, and lookout points where you can watch the waves and the surfers below. Perfect at sunset, the promenade is a peaceful way to end your first day in Lima, whether you’re strolling alone, with friends, or stopping for a photo or a drink along the way.

Altitude Advisory
Some destinations on this itinerary are located at high altitude, including Cusco (11,150 ft). Some travelers may experience mild symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, dizziness, or shortness of breath while adjusting to the elevation. We recommend staying well hydrated, avoiding excessive alcohol upon arrival, and taking the first days at a relaxed pace. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, particularly heart or respiratory conditions, should consult their doctor prior to travel.
Day 2
Day 2 - Your First Full Day in Lima

Lima Private Driving and Walking Tour
If you have only a few hours in Lima, this tour is the ideal way to explore this fascinating city. Together with your guide, discover Colonial Lima on foot, including the San Francisco Convent, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Then experience Lima’s striking contrasts as your driver takes you through the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, with a quick stop at Huaca Pucllana, a remarkably preserved pre-Inca adobe pyramid rising unexpectedly from the modern city. From the cliffs above the Pacific, enjoy sweeping views of the “Green Coast,” where city life meets humble coastal settlements. The tour finishes in the artistic seaside neighborhood of Barranco. For a local touch, ask your guide to stop for traditional Peruvian sandwiches and exotic fruit juices along the way.

The Dinner & Dance Showcase: A Curated Group Experience
The Dinner & Dance Showcase: A Curated Group Experience is a one-of-a-kind Peruvian experience where haute cuisine and traditional dance collide in a world-class performance. A bold celebration of Peru that you don’t just watch, you feel, taste, and remember.
Invest in Authentic Vicuña Wool Garments
In Lima, shopping for vicuña wool is a journey into the world of ultimate luxury. Known as the Fiber of the Gods, this incredibly soft and rare material creates garments that are true investment pieces. Because these exclusive items can cost thousands of dollars, they come with official government certificates to prove they were legally and sustainably sourced. To ensure authenticity, you must buy them from specialized boutiques. High-end stores like Kuna and Sol Alpaca offer stunning, certified collections that connect you directly to ancient Andean traditions.
Day 3
Day 3 - Traveling to Sacred Valley Resorts by Airplane
The Sacred Valley awaits you today! You will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to the airport for your departing flight to Cusco. The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours, with several departures available throughout the day.
Upon arrival in Cusco, your driver will be waiting to welcome you and take you to the Sacred Valley, where your accommodation is located.
Please note that the flight included in your package is in Economy Class (or a similar class). If you’re interested in upgrading to a higher class (available only on certain airlines), just let us know, and we’ll be happy to check availability and cost. Please also keep in mind that the included flight is non-flexible, and flight prices are subject to change until the trip is confirmed.

2 Nights in Sacred Valley Resorts

2 Nights in Sacred Valley Resorts
The Sacred Valley resort area is ideal for travelers seeking the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and relaxation. Evenings are usually peaceful, and most dining happens within the hotels, which offer excellent cuisine and beautiful settings. The atmosphere is more rural than urban, but that’s exactly what many guests appreciate: quiet nights, starry skies, and a sense of calm that comes into striking contrast with busier Peruvian cities. As the area is spread out, activities typically require short drives, and there are limited standalone restaurants or shops outside the hotels. But the combination of natural beauty, fresh air, and top-quality lodgings renders the Sacred Valley one of the most pleasant places to stay in the entire country.

Upon arrival, your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
Be at One With The Stars
With high altitude and little light pollution, the Sacred Valley offers exceptional night skies. These conditions are perfect for spotting the Milky Way and Southern Hemisphere constellations. Ask your resort for the best viewing times and, if available, guidance on traditional Inca star lore. It’s a peaceful, memorable way to end an evening in the Valley.

Day 4
Day 4 - Your First Full Day in Sacred Valley Resorts

Private Day Trip to Lamay Valley with Pachamanca
Discover the authentic flavors and traditions of the Sacred Valley on this immersive cultural experience in Huayllafara, a traditional Andean community above Lamay. Surrounded by spectacular mountain landscapes, local families will warmly welcome you and share their ancestral knowledge of farming, biodiversity, and traditional food preparation passed down through generations. Take part in seasonal farming activities while discovering traditional preparations such as uchucuta (Andean hot sauce), quinoa processing, and local ingredients grown in the valley. A highlight of the day is the preparation of a traditional Pachamanca, an ancestral Andean feast slow-cooked underground with hot stones in honor of Pachamama (Mother Earth). You may also experience huatia, a traditional earthen oven cooking technique. Enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch with your hosts, creating a meaningful connection with the local culture before returning to your accommodation. This experience includes a community contribution fee that directly supports local families and helps preserve traditional knowledge and cultural practices in Lamay.
Be Pampered To Your Heart's Content
A trip packed with hiking routes, cultural exploration, and fascinating outdoor activities is thrilling, but also strenuous. Yet, there's nothing a nice day at the spa can't fix. Scattered across the Sacred Valley, many resorts have excellent spas where you can get all the pampering you need. Among them, Tambo del Inka’s Kallpa Spa stands out for offering top-tier facilities and treatments, ideal to help you regain your energy or recover from altitude sickness.
Wellness Meets Culture
Hotels in Urubamba, Pisac, and Ollantaytambo offer deeply rejuvenating wellness experiences. You can look forward to relaxing during yoga classes and professional massages, or immersing yourself in local tradition through cacao ceremonies, coca leaf readings, and sacred offerings to Mother Earth.

No visit to Machu Picchu Pueblo is complete without a stroll through the town's Artisan Market. This colorful maze of stalls by the train tracks is packed with alpaca textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and souvenirs. It's the ideal place to buy gifts and keepsakes before or after visiting Machu Picchu. Open until 8 PM, the market is a lovely place to go after dinner, on your way back to your hotel.
Day 6
Day 6 - Your First Full Day in Machu Picchu Pueblo

Machu Picchu Private Tour (non refundable)
Today, you will explore the marvels of Machu Picchu, likely to be the highlight of your journey through Peru. Your private guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you to the bus station. From here, you will take a shuttle up the mountain, which is the sole means of accessing the archaeological site, as private vehicles are not permitted.
Upon arrival at the entrance, your guide will lead you through the designated sectors included with your ticket type. Highlights of the main archaeological site include the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock, and the Temple of the Three Windows. You will also have time to enjoy the iconic panoramic viewpoint and experience the principal landmarks of the citadel.
For travelers with a higher fitness level, there is an option to add the additional hike to Huayna Picchu at an extra cost. Please note that this is a strenuous ascent on uneven stairs, but you will be rewarded with spectacular views overlooking the entire Machu Picchu archaeological site.
At the end of your guided visit, we highly recommend extending your stay, and we can book lunch for you at the beautiful Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, which sits at the site entrance and is the only hotel in the area. Alternatively, if you prefer to return to Machu Picchu Pueblo, you can take the next available bus back down the mountain, as they run frequently but cannot be booked in advance.
Reward Yourself With a Lunch To Remember
After your guided visit to Machu Picchu, we suggest stopping for lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge, just outside the site entrance. It’s the most convenient place to unwind after exploring the ruins, offering a comfortable setting and delicious food. The spectacular views of the surroundings from the floor to ceiling windows, accompanied by delicious Peruvian specialties make for a memorable meal and relaxing break before continuing your day at your own pace.
A Well-Earned Spa Break
After visiting Machu Picchu, your tired muscles deserve a pampering spa treatment following a day of walking and exploration. If your hotel doesn't have spa facilities, slow down and recover with a massage or wellness session at El Mapi Hotel, a convenient and reliable option, offering a comfortable, modern setting for relaxation before continuing your journey.

Acclimatization's Important!
Cusco sits way up at around 11,150 feet (3,400 meters) above sea level, so give yourself time to acclimatize when you arrive. Take it easy on day one, stay well-hydrated, and avoid heavy meals or alcohol until you’re feeling settled. Many travelers find that sipping coca tea (available at every cafe, restaurant and hotel in Cusco) or taking short, gentle walks helps their body adjust. If you’re flying straight in from sea level, expect to feel the altitude. Most people tend to adjust to the altitude within a day.
