Dubrovnik offers an unusual blend of modern culture and ancient traditions. Marble-smooth polished limestone streets, a labyrinth of alleyways, and breathtaking architecture compose the unique atmosphere of the Old Town. You’ll experience a true variety of sightseeing, leisure, and outdoor adventures here. Dubrovnik’s most stunning feature is the 82-foot tall city wall which extends more than a mile. Game of Thrones fans will be in luck, as we offer a special tour to local set locations. King’s Landing never looked so good! There’s a rich selection of live performances for music lovers here, as concerts are performed daily, and in July and August the Dubrovnik Summer Festival of music, theatre and dance brings incredible performers from around the world. The nightlife is also exciting, with restaurants, cafes and bars that will keep you socializing until dawn. You’ll be staying in beautiful accommodation within short walking distance to all the major sites, so you’ll be able to sample a little of everything. But there are also several exciting day trips and cruises to enjoy. From kayaking through hidden coves to an authentic Croatian cooking class, vineyard tours, and trips as far afield as Montenegro, you’ll have more than enough to fill your itinerary.

Day 1

Day 1 - Arrival in Dubrovnik

After your flight arrives in Dubrovnik, we will have someone meet you at the airport and bring you to your accommodation. Duration of the drive is about 30 minutes.

Our representative will then meet with you to answer any questions you have and to get you settled for the rest of your trip.

Romantic Dubrovnik

Suggestion to explore on your own

From real romance to outdoor fun, there’s something for every couple in Dubrovnik. We have a couple of favorite places to watch the sunset: the first is Buza Bar, where you’ll have excellent cocktails and snacks and an incredible view as dusk comes on. Restaurant 360° perched atop the city walls might be even more impressive, with unbeatable views of the city and the Adriatic. This restaurant has even been awarded a Michelin star! It’s one of the most incredible panoramas in the entire region. If you would like to escape from the crowded streets, there is a hidden haven nestled within the city walls called M’arden. Surrounded by greenery, you can enjoy some of the best wines Croatia has to offer paired with extraordinary bites. Dubrovnik is a real love-filled escape.

Eat Like a Local

Suggested activities for an additional cost, depending on your choice

As Paul Prudhomme said - "You don't need a silver fork to eat good food". This is especially clear in Dubrovnik, where you don't have to go to a fancy restaurant to have a great meal. You can also experience different kinds of local gastronomy while in Dubrovnik. We offer several tantalizing ways to eat like a local. For example, you can go for dinner in a local family's home, attend a cooking class at Zupa Dubrovacka with the Grbic Pajo family, or venture to the Konavle region and savor a cooking class with an authentic Mujo family. We are sure you will enjoy any of these enriching experiences.

Eat and Meet with Locals Group Dinner

Eat and Meet with Locals Group Dinner

Suggested activities for an additional cost, depending on your choice

Looking for a unique dining experience in Dubrovnik? The best and the most authentic meal you can have in Dubrovnik is definitely with a local family. We'll secure you a spot for a Dalmatian dinner experience with Marija, an expert home cook whose cooking and food knowledge was recognized by the Wall Street Journal and National Geographic. Indulge in an enchanted evening of learning about real Dubrovnik and Dalmatian cuisine. Marija will prepare a multi-course meal with a local highlight, peka - a traditional style of cooking usually translated as "under the bell" and accompanied with great local wines. Our marketing director, a gourmand, described this as the best meal he's ever eaten in Croatia. Find out why!

Apart from Croatia’s hospitality and beautiful scenery, gastronomy is the one of the country's main draws. We encourage you to come and taste traditional Croatian dishes, after having fun learning to cook them!

A Day at the Beach

Suggestion to explore on your own

Dubrovnik is located on the Adriatic, one of the world’s bluest and cleanest seas. Of course, the beaches are fantastic, too. Here are our top picks: Banje Beach is the busiest in the city center but provides some of the best views of the old town and its ramparts. You can chill out on the lounge chairs and exotic bamboo beds or get into some water sports action such as waterskiing, waterboarding, tubing, and the crazy UFO ride. Now, Buza Beach is something else. Tucked under the city walls on rocky ground, it's got a stunning sea view. And the best part? The café there keeps the good times rolling even after the sun goes down. And then there's St. Jacob Beach – it's like a postcard. People say it's one of the most beautiful beaches in Dubrovnik. Climbing up to St. Jacob Beach might involve tackling quite a few stairs, but the view and vibes you get once you're there make it totally worth the effort.

One of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean, Korcula is instantly recognizable from its red-roofed houses and stunning walled-in Old Town, which juts out into the sea. Two of the biggest attractions are the Cathedral of St. Marco and Marco Polo's original home. One of the greenest islands on the Adriatic, Korcula is poised on the edge of nature on both sides, with rolling hills for hiking and biking behind it, and incredible beaches along the coast. This is the ideal stopover between Dubrovnik and Hvar, and is a pleasant destination for a several-day stay. The island produces some of the region’s finest white wines. Just a brief ferry ride away, the neighboring Peljesac peninsula produces amazing red wines. Mljet, a stunning lake with an island complete with its own monastery, is one of the most impressive day trips from Korcula. You can also take the opportunity to go fishing in the alluring blue waters off the coast, or explore the nearby islands by boat. One of the most unique activities in Korcula is Moreska, an incredible combat dance performance performed by knights with swords. But even if you stay in town, there’s plenty to see. Korcula has a long, varied history going back to the ancient Greeks. The local cultural museums are the best way to get in touch with the past here, even as you enjoy the best Korcula has to offer today.

Crazy about Korcula

Suggestion to explore on your own

Korcula is an idyllic place to get away from it all with the person you love. This incredible little island is quaint, quiet, and very peaceful. You can really unwind here as you leave the stresses of city life behind. Since this verdant landscape is full of vineyards, you can take some time to explore Korcula’s wineries together, enjoying the gorgeous natural setting and getting in the vacation spirit as you sample some of the finest vintages Croatia has to offer. You’ll find plenty of fresh seafood and delicious grilled dishes at Korcula’s restaurants, so enjoying a romantic dinner together won’t be a problem. We’d especially recommend Massimo Cocktail Bar for a drink because, from here, you’ll enjoy some of the island’s best sunsets.

If there’s a place we would recommend visiting from Korcula, it is the island of Mljet. There must be something special about the place because it was mentioned in one of literature's great epics: The Odyssey. The entire island has an enchanting atmosphere and some unique features, like St. Mary's, an island on the large lake in the center of Mljet, with a 12th-century church and Benedictine monastery. An island on an island - how magical is that? Swimming, hiking, or just relaxing, any day is unforgettable on Mljet, just an hour from Korcula by ferry. The Roman Emperor Diocletian made Split his home in the 4th Century AD, building a vast palace complex on the waterfront that stands to this day. In fact several of the accommodation options we offer in Split are nestled inside its ancient walls. These days there is an embankment in front of Diocletian's palace but the water used to go right up to the main wall. It's on this man-made strip of land that you'll find the Riva, a pedestrian promenade bustling with life. Split's UNESCO listed Old Town is contained within these old walls and is a pedestrian-only maze that it is quite easy, but fun, to get lost in. Who know what romantic hidden cafés you might find in one of the narrow streets and alleyways? To get the best out of your time in Split, however, we recommend taking a tour with a local guide. Split is very well connected for flights, with an international airport a half hour drive away and is a popular stopping point for our guests on their way between Dubrovnik and the islands of Hvar, Vis, or Korcula, all easily reached by a ferry from Split's port. If you base yourself in Split for a few days, you will find it is also perfect located for visits to some of Croatia's most stunning national parks.

The landscape here is incredible. If you come here during the Split Summer Festival, you’ll get to enjoy the absolutely unique atmosphere as you watch theater and opera on Peristil Square, but you can enjoy the city at any time of year. Renting bikes is a great way to explore the area together, and Marjan Hill is especially inviting, with views over the city and the sea. This is a wonderful place to stay active together, but you can also just relax and lounge on the beach, or enjoy a dinner at Dvor, one of the city's most romantic restaurants.
