Italy Destination Manager & Rome City Host
Giorgia is an absolute DREAM to work with. We had multiple questions that I communicated via email prior to departure. She answered all of these question comprehensively and quickly. Once on the ground, she was a true pleasure to interact with. She met us at our first hotel in Rome and walked us through each part of our planned trip to make sure we all felt comfortable navigating Italy. We ran into a slight issue in Positano due to the windy roads not being "agreeable" with some of my family members and Giorgia worked diligently to secure a partial refund for our tours planned the next day in Pompeii. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Giorgia, she is a true asset for JayWay Travel!
Dawn, New Jersey
Born and raised in Rome, Giorgia studied interpretation and translation in college, learning four languages and traveling extensively around Europe. Passionate about tourism and experiencing other cultures and traditions, Giorgia found work with a Roman tour company offering food and wine tours, and even trained as a sommelier. Excited to share her own culture and knowledge with others, and move beyond gustatory tourism, Giorgia joined JayWay, and proved to be an excellent fit.

Discovering the world and meeting new people.
Why do you think it's important to travel?
Because it allows you to be more open-minded about other people, countries and cultures.
What destination is at the top of your list?
I haven't been to Vietnam and Cambodia yet, but they are next on my list!
What was the most exotic dining or cultural experience you've had when traveling?
Leberkäse in Berlin. I am not very fond of wurst and that kind of meat but this one was absolutely delicious!
Best advice for travelers to Europe?
Planes, trains, or automobiles? How do you like to travel and why?
I prefer automobiles, because it's a lot more adventurous and you can stop whenever and wherever you want, finding places you would never have found if not for the car. Plus you have the chance to enjoy the countryside as well.
What’s something you’ve been meaning to try, but haven’t got around to yet?
Swimming with dolphins. It has been my dream since I was a little girl.
