Marija was a big hit with our guests when she joined us in 2010 as a local representative. As a tour manager, she made sure all the finer details of everyone's vacation was worked out prior to arrival. Based in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where she was born, raised, and graduated from the American College of Management and Technology, Marija is putting that education to great use. After spending some time as a Trip Planner, she is now taking full charge of our human resources needs as we grow.

What's your favorite thing about traveling?

Definitely NOT flights! I like exploring local culture and observing people and their customs.

Why do you think it's important to travel?

Because it makes you more aware of different people and cultures and expands your horizons.

What is your idea of a perfect vacation?

It depends on when and whom I travel with, but it is a combination of relaxing and exploring time.

What's something you always bring with you when you travel?

Something warm, because I am always afraid that I will be cold on the plane.

What were your reasons for choosing to work in travel? And what value do you see in it?

The travel industry is very popular in my hometown. I see great value and hope someone will at some point in the future plan me a similar trip like we do for our clients. Going that extra mile is crucial and people appreciate it, which is very satisfying.
