Meet the JayWay Guest Page

Our Guest Page is a big part of what makes traveling with JayWay so easy and rewarding. As well as being home to your trip itinerary, it’s also packed with useful destination info.

Below is a gallery with captions explaining each section, if you’d prefer to view it at your own pace.

  • The Home screen shows a greeting from your travel advisor, with some quick links to useful information regarding insurance, tipping, and our frequently asked questions. Immediately below that you'll see an overview of the destinations you're visiting, including the dates you'll be there.

  • Itinerary Introduction
  • Just below, we have the itinerary itself. Here you will see, broken down by destination, a summary of what's happening on each day. Click on the title of each item in your itinerary to see more details.

  • Clicking on 'More info' for an excursion will show you the full details, and images, of the excursion.

  • For all services, when the date of your trip is near, whether it's a transfer or an excursion, you'll have a button to ‘Ask a Question’. This will send us a message which we will respond to as soon as we can. Once the service has taken place that button changes to ‘Leave Feedback’. You can use that to tell us how it went. Once we've booked a service for you that has downloadable tickets, you'll find them here.

  • You can use the Add Day Note function to add your own notes for the day. If you add a time, it will be shown in chronological order in your itinerary. Please note that these notes are for you and your group's personal use. We do not monitor what is entered here, so if you'd like us to arrange an additional excursion for you, please request it via the form in the list of available excursions. You can add as many day notes as you need.
  • The big "i" on the end of the destination header will take you to the same Destination Detail screen that clicking on the destination from the Home screen would. This is the Destination Detail screen for Dubrovnik. At the top are the dates you’ll be there. The arrows to the left and right of the dates will take you to the previous or next destination in your trip. Next is the part of your itinerary for when you're in Dubrovnik, so you could choose to navigate your itinerary by flicking between the cities, or by referring to the itinerary screen we already saw. To the right of that, if there are any interesting events going on when you're in the city, we'll highlight it in the ‘What's On’ section. Then we have lots of practical information about the destination. Just click on a title to show the info.

  • Finally in this screen we have information about the country the destination is located in; you'll find a description of the country itself, and practical information about what to pack, what the cuisine is like, country-specific tipping advice, and more.

  • Again, just click on a title to show the info. For some items we also have a video you can watch.

  • Accommodation
  • Here you'll find info on where you're staying, dates of your stay, the hotel's facilities, and the room type you've booked. Before your stay there's a button to ‘Ask a Question’, and after your stay there is completed it changes to ‘Leave Feedback’, so you can let us know how you liked it.

  • Here you have a list of excursions available during your time in this destination. You can filter it by activity level or duration, as well as sort by price, activity level, and duration.

  • ‘Eat & Drink’ is our favorite section because we get to highlight the best places in the destination for dining and drinks. You can view one category at a time, or view them all in one list. The map button will show you all the locations of all the places you were looking at in the list view.

  • You'll notice the map also shows your accommodation, so you can see how far places are from where you're staying. For each listing, if available, you'll see a link to their website, an email link and their phone number. You can also click on their addresses to see just that specific place highlighted on the map. You'll find a similar Map button in other sections of the destination guide.

  • In ‘Useful Services’ We list places to buy authentic, locally produced souvenirs, as well as a variety of other handy stores and services like supermarkets and laundries.

  • The ‘Things to See’ section is where you'll find details of the most important sights in the city along with museums and galleries.

  • Here you'll find downloadable PDFs of all the information in your Guest Page. It's available as separate files for just your accommodation, the destination info that we just learned all about, your itinerary at a glance, or the ‘All Tour Details’ option, which contains all of this. Finally, you can download a printable invoice for your tour, detailing all your payments.

  • Under ‘Payments’ you'll see all the payments made towards your trip, and you can download a receipt for each payment too; just click on the document icon. Any extra excursions you've requested, in addition to your trip package, will be listed here too.

  • This is also where you go to make payments for any outstanding balance.

  • ‘Feedback’ is where you go to contact your travel advisor or your local JayWay contact in Europe, once you're in touch with them, which is about a month before your trip. Once your trip has begun you can make use of the ‘Feedback’ section to tip your local JayWay contact too. When your trip has finished, this is where you go to submit a survey response about your whole trip.
