A little about Rome

The capital of Italy is a vibrant, energetic and stylish city. While thoroughly modern in sensibility, Rome is also home to some of the world’s most important works of classic art and architecture. This city has been an epicenter for culture, politics and religion for more than 2,500 years. From the Spanish Steps to the Vatican, there are more than enough sights to keep even the most active tourists busy and even somewhere as popular as Rome you can find places just off the tourist trail and bustling with locals. But it’s also nice to slow down and enjoy Rome’s famous cafes and restaurants, which can be just as beguiling as the buildings. Lounge with an espresso on the Campo de Fiori and watch the changing light on the fountains and the facades. Visit the Vatican and explore some of the world’s most beautiful churches. Rome really comes alive at night, when restaurants and wine bars bring a renewed vitality to the city. You’ll also have opportunities for day trips to local vineyards, olive groves, and other places producing regional delicacies. No matter what your interests, or what kind of holiday you’re looking for, Rome will be an enjoyable destination.

This is the perfect orientational tour of the Old town and will give you the best insight into the rich history of Dubrovnik. You’ll learn what there is to see and do in Dubrovnik and how to get around. A little about Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik offers an unusual blend of modern culture and ancient tradition. Marble-like polished limestone streets, a labyrinth of alleyways and breathtaking architecture compose the unique atmosphere of the Old Town. You’ll experience a true variety of sightseeing, leisure and outdoor adventures here. Dubrovnik’s most stunning feature is the 82-foot tall city wall which extends more than a mile. Game of Thrones fans will be in luck, as we offer a special tour to local set locations. King’s Landing never looked so good! There’s a rich selection of live performances for music lovers here, as concerts are performed daily, and in July and August the Dubrovnik Summer Festival of music, theatre and dance brings incredible performers from around the world. The nightlife is also exciting, with restaurants, cafes and bars that will keep you socializing until dawn. You’ll be staying in beautiful accommodation within short walking distance to all the major sites, so you’ll be able to sample a little of everything. But there are also several exciting day trips and cruises to enjoy. From kayaking through hidden coves to an authentic Croatian cooking class, vineyard tours, and trips as far afield as Montenegro, you’ll have more than enough to fill your itinerary.

The inside of the cave is quite spacious and exploring it is an unforgettable experience, especially the light effect created by the sun reflecting in the cave through the sea. Your tour will then continue to Komiza, whose inhabitants are believed to be the best fishermen on the Adriatic. Here you can visit the Fishermen’s Museum in a fortified building from the 16th century. A little about Hvar

One of the gems of the Adriatic, Hvar is more than a beautiful coastal town. It’s also an ancient epicenter of culture, boasting the oldest communal theater in Europe, the largest square on the Croatian coast and a stunning medieval fortress dating back to the 7th century. There’s a little bit of everything here, from history and architecture to modern culture, outdoor adventures and isolated beaches. Whether you want a vacation that’s action-packed or something more relaxing, Hvar -- named one of the top 10 world summer party spots by MSN -- will offer more than enough variety to please you. The longest of the Adriatic islands, Hvar’s fertile landscape makes it perfect for growing grapes, giving you several local vineyards to visit. Be sure to sample the local cuisine, which emphasizes freshly caught fish, baked bread and vegetables grown on the island. We can offer a tasting tour at the finest local vineyards. Those seeking an active vacation will not be disappointed either, as there are several possibilities for sailing, swimming, exploring the sea caves along the coast. You can also take a hike in the hills overlooking Hvar, and go offroad with a local guide. This is a relaxing destination with warm locals. It’s an ideal summer vacation spot.

Today you're leaving Split and Croatia behind, by way of a short direct flight to Venice. We'll arrange for a driver to pick you up from your accommodation in Split and get you to the airport in plenty of time for your hour-long hop to Venice.
Included : Split Airport Transfer, Split - Venice One-way Flight

A little about Split

The Roman Emperor Diocletian made Split his home in the 4th Century AD and built a vast palace complex on the waterfront that stands to this day. In fact several of the accommodation options we offer in Split are nestled inside the walls. These days there is an embankment in front of the palace but the water used to go right up to the wall. It's on this man-made strip of land that you'll find the Riva, a pedestrian promenade bustling with life. Split's UNESCO listed Old Town is contained within these old walls and it's a pedestrian-only maze that it is quite easy, but fun, to get lost in. Who know what romantic hidden cafés you might find in one of the narrow streets and alleyways. To get the best out of your time in Split however, we recommend taking a tour with a local guide. Split is very well connected for flights, with an international airport a half hour drive away and is a popular stopping point for our guests on their way between Dubrovnik and the islands of Hvar, Vis or Korcula, all easily reached by a ferry from Split port. If you base yourself in Split for a few daysyou will find it is also well located for visits to some of Croatia's stunning national parks.

3 Nights in Venice

Day 1

On your arrival to Venice airport we will organize a water taxi to take you to your hotel.

Included : Venice Water Taxi Marco Polo Airport Transfer

Day 2

Venetian Tapas and Wine Tour
Today you'll be taking your taste buds on a delicious adventure with a small group tour of Venice's Bacari wine bars and their famous cicchetti dishes as well as getting your bearings in this maze like city on the sea. Day 3

Murano and Burano
Today we suggest going off the beaten path and onto a boat to cross the water and explore two islands which are not islands at all. Murano and Burano are tiny archipelagos, collections of islands linked by numerous bridges. On Murano, the stately architecture is stunning but the main attraction here is the collection of incredible glassblowers, whose works in progress you can see at Murano’s many ateliers. In 1291, all the glassmakers working in Venice were forced to move to Murano, because of the risk of fires from the ovens and molten glass. Burano is also an archipelago in northern Venice, consisting of four islands linked by many bridges. What you’ll notice first are the brightly painted houses, which make the island glow with an energy all its own. Largely inhabited by artists, it’s a great place to poke around and explore, including the Church of San Martino, which houses a classic Tiepolo painting from the 18th century. We can arrange tickets for a group boat trip but you might prefer exploring on your own. A 24-hour vaporetto ticket covers your transport needs and means you're free to come and go as you please rather than being herded onto a boat.

Day 4

It's time to bid arrivederci to Venice but you'll get a good last look at the city as your private water taxi captain takes you to the airport for your departing flight.
Included : Venice Water Taxi Marco Polo Airport Transfer

A little about Venice

Venice is a legendary city with a charm and atmosphere all its own. The city was constructed on more than 100 islands connected by a series of canals, most of which are lined with gorgeous palaces, beautiful churches, and all sorts of impressive architecture. While the city isn’t huge, it is packed with pedestrian-only streets and quaint, winding alleys that will keep you exploring for days. The city is very popular with tourists year-round, so you certainly won’t be the only travelers walking through the streets with camera in hand. This being Italy, the cuisine in Venice is delicious, and we can especially recommend the Cicchetti of Venice tour. Cicchetti are Venetian tapas, and this tour will introduce you to some of the city’s most iconic eateries and its most delicious recipes. If it’s your first time in Venice, we can organize a tour to show you all the most important sites. And since no trip to the city of canals is complete without a boat ride, we offer a number of ways for you to get a new point of view of the city and its magnificent architecture. It’s easy to while away your time in Venice, discovering new secrets around every corner.
